Railroad derail gates are used to increase the visibility of railyard derails when they are engaged and to reduce transportation crews from derailing in the yard.
Derail gates are made in two styles for high mast derails: round style masts (Western-Cullen-Hayes Hi-Rise Derail Stand Derails) have one gate arm; square style masts (Racor Hi-Stand Derails) have two gate arms to increase the rigidity and improve strength of the derail gate.

You can select a standard purple, white or blue flag derail sign, or we can customize one to meet your needs and communicate to your operators.
